My Journey

William’s journey began in the world of wholesale textiles, where his love for fabrics and design took shape. After more than twenty years as Sales Manager for a leading Dublin-based company, he took the bold step to start his own business — William J Cullen Interiors. His decision came at a turning point in the industry, driven by the need to adapt to market changes after Brexit and a growing demand for sustainable materials. With a small start-up grant and sheer determination, William built his company from the ground up. Today, his dedication to sourcing responsibly produced fabrics — including a 100% recyclable PVC range from Belgium — reflects a business rooted in both innovation and care for the environment.
